Stay in Nature
: Immerse yourself in the nature on The Ridge with a glamping experience at Chapelle de L'Artiste. Their property is on 20 acres and features aesthetically please glamping tents and private bathrooms ensuring your stay is as comfortable as possible.

Where to Eat:

Breakfast: Lofi Café is a community driven café with fresh seasonal menus that uses ingredients from  small farms, local ranchers, bakers, and purveyors all over the North State. Stop by for breakfast or lunch and try their delicious menu items, coffee, teas, and boba! 


Lunch: Meeho’s is a local favorite that you can either enjoy at their restaurant or food truck. Their menu features traditional Mexican dishes and is home to the 2 lb grande burrito for those with a big appetite. 


Dinner: Stop by Nic’s for food, beer and wine all perfectly paired and delicious. Their outdoor patio is excellent for enjoying the sunset. Keep an eye out for their limited time specials or try one of their delicious salads and sandwiches.

What to Do:

Kayak on a lake: Getting out on the water of Paradise Lake is an excellent way to enjoy the natural beauty on The Ridge. The 204-acre lake is surrounded by trees and has plenty of other areas available for a variety of outdoor activities. Kayak rentals are available on Saturday and Sunday at boat launch #2, to rent a Kayak, click  here


See a show
: Theatre on the Ridge was founded in 1975 and is the oldest oldest California non-profit community theater north of Sacramento. The theater produces seven shows annually including both plays and musicals. Take a look at their show schedule here.


Learn history
: The Gold Nugget Museum hosts the yearly Gold Nugget Days, celebrating the area's role in Gold Rush history.The museum currently features rotating mini-exhibits in the lobby while they work towards opening our exhibition hall.  Admission is free.


Go antiquing
: There are a number of antique stores in town to browse and find hidden treasures. Browse and impressive selection at Skyway Antique Mall, where you can find everything from furniture to jewelry. Explore Treasures from Paradise, offering an eclectic assortment of vintage goods as well as locally made Paradise and Magalia memorabilia.
